Against Democratic Design

We as designers, should always have something to say, either in our daily lives or through our work.

Something discovered through research is how closely linked the term Democratic Design is with IKEA. In fact, IKEA claims to be at the front of Democratic Design and it is something they take very seriously, as it influences their whole business model.

The final piece for this project came together by having the manifesto printed on top of the manual, as if replacing the text with the truth and, just like a manual, guiding the reader through the process of realisation.
